- If a wire is down, stay away from it and call the utility and 911.
- Know whether the whole building is out or one circuit is out.

What counts as an electrical emergency?
Smoke, sparking, a burning smell, a hot panel or a downed wire are emergencies. For smoke, fire or a burning smell, call 911 first. Loss of power to a building or to a critical circuit, a tripping main, or water in electrical equipment are the other common calls. Call (603) 224-7474.

What if my power is out but the neighbors' is out too?
That is a utility outage, and the utility has to restore it. Report it to your utility and check its outage map. Our NH rebates and utilities guide lists which utility serves which town in this area.
Do you repair emergency and exit lighting for commercial buildings?
